ABOUT

THE PIZZA STAND was opened by J in spring 2020.
J went to the U.S. in his early 20’s to
attend UC Berkeley.

While studying at university, J lived off of typical
American fare, pizza and Mexican food.

After he moved back to Korea, the idea sparked
one day to open up a restaurant focusing on foods
that he grew up with and missed.

A pizza lover in every sense; J has re-envisioned
what American style pizza is;
using only the highest end ingredients available
and applying artisanal pizza making practices.

THE PIZZA STAND is as much
a local’s hangout as it is a pizza institution.
With the combination of amazing food and
a wonderful atmosphere both homesick
foreigners and native Koreans alike come to
The Pizza Stand for the food and a great time.
